About us

Dance in the Rain Gardening is a garden maintenance and installation company that provides services to private properties in The Kingsway, The Bridal Path, Lawrence Park, Rosedale, Yorkville, Forest Hill and Cabbagetown in Toronto.

We specialize in container, condo, and complex gardens offering comprehensive garden care to our clients.

We believe we have the right tools, the right training, and the right attitude to take on your projects.

We aren’t afraid to take on complicated projects whether you have one overgrown rose or one hundred. We enjoy a good challenge and have the horticultural knowledge and experience to provide complete solutions. 

Our standards are as high as the penthouse condo gardens we love to service.

Our Services

Garden Maintenance

Our garden maintenance services are offered weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. These visits can include:

  • Hedge trimming

  • Pruning

  • Complete garden care: weeding, cultivating, edging gardens

  • Lawn weeding or seeding. Cutting not offered at this time.

  • Fertilizing programs

  • Pest control programs

  • Irrigation systems monitoring

We also offer Spring and Fall clean-ups, to prepare your garden for the coming season or close it down with preparations for the winter. Extensive pruning of shrubs and general clean-ups are also available throughout the season.

Plantscaping

Working from your verbal instructions, the design you’ve created with our team, or a design you’ve created with a landscape architect, we will source, hand select, and install material to fit your vision.

We also offer seasonal planting to beautify your space including:

  • Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter annual container displays

  • Bulb planting

  • In ground annual planting

Terrace Maintenance

We specialize in keeping your condo terraces looking their best. Services are offered weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. These visits include:

  • General plant healthcare monitoring and treatments to maximize performance.

  • Plant pruning and shaping

  • Hedge trimming

  • Irrigation system monitoring

  • Fertilizer and pest control programs

  • Annual display planting and upkeep

  • Thorough planter and patio weeding.

We also offer terrace Spring and Fall clean ups to prepare your garden for the coming season or close it down with preparations for the winter such as burlapping or anti-desiccant.
